Re-sawn carcassing is one of the most commonly used forms of processed timber, and is suitable for non structural uses, such as general construction, framing and fencing. Our re-sawn carcassing is usually high pressure treated using state of the art treatment process which minimizes any deterioration when used externally. We stock it in a variety of sections as are widely used in the general construction industry.
Structural timber is generally stress graded and regularised in size. It is suitable for the construction of timber frames and floor joists. This product is also available in a rough sawn form. The regularised product is the most popular as it is uniform in size and well presented. This material is usually treated with a low pressure preservative for use above the Damp Proof Course (DPC).
